Kristen Rosati Addresses Regulatory Developments, Mobile Technology in Presentation for the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine
On June 6 in Washington, D.C, Kristen Rosati addressed the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine Forum on Neuroscience and Nervous System Disorders in a workshop entitled Harnessing Mobile Technology to Predict, Diagnose, Monitor, and Develop Treatments for Nervous System Disorders.
Kristen discussed recent regulatory developments that affect the use of mobile technology in neuroscience research and clinical care, including HIPAA, the federal regulations governing human subject protections in research, and the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
