Focused on health care and data privacy law, Ben Yeager primarily assists clients in negotiating clinical trial agreements. He also advises clients on compliance with health data privacy and security laws, as well as emerging state consumer data privacy laws, and assists with reporting healthcare data breaches and navigating subsequent federal and state government investigations. Ben’s practice also includes negotiating HIPAA business associate agreements and drafting website privacy policies. Ben obtained a Certificate in Law, Science and Technology with a focus on life sciences and biotechnology law, further strengthening his expertise in the regulatory landscape governing clinical research.
Before joining Coppersmith Brockelman, Ben completed clerkships with the Arizona Supreme Court and the Arizona Court of Appeals. During law school, he served as the Administrator of the Hope Endowment Home in Gujarat, India—a children’s home and school serving 150 children, dedicated to preparing youth for future careers and helping them break free from generational poverty. Ben’s work and volunteer service in India, Uganda, China, the Philippines, and Mexico ignited an enduring interest in supporting underserved populations.
