Merrill Hodnefield
Merrill supports Coppersmith Brockelman’s health care practice, including clinical research and other regulatory areas. Merrill focuses her practice on contract negotiation, with an emphasis on clinical trial agreements and related data use, and data processing agreements. She also performs research and analysis of complex laws and regulations, including laws governing data privacy, genetic privacy, and human research protections.
Victoria Prescott
Viki has significant experience representing hospitals, academic medical centers, physician practices, research institutes and technology companies. She assists clients in drafting and negotiating agreements, and provides advice on regulatory and compliance matters in the areas of clinical research, biobanking, health information exchange and data sharing, HIPAA compliance and data privacy, and software and technology development and licensing.
Jason Seay
Jason is a health care, data privacy, and security lawyer with 18+ years of experience in both private and government sectors. Jason has held CIPP/US certification since 2018 and is currently pursuing the IAPP’s AI governance certification. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2007 and was awarded a health law certificate with his doctorate.
